Structural grade softwood

Treated and untreated softwood in popular dimensions and lengths. Used in structural applications for joists, roof timbers (rafters and purlins) and studding.

We stock imported (Swedish) C24 structural grade softwood.

Landscaping Timber

Timber for raised beds, softwood sleepers, oak sleepers, softwood decking, closeboard fencing, fence panels, and hardwood decking.

Timber Cladding

We keep a range of timber cladding. Ideal for vertical surfaces on sheds, garages, car ports, garden buildings, dormers, gables etc…

We source the best joinery available, primarily from Scandinavia in 25mm, 32mm, 38mm, 50mm, 63mm, 75mm and 100mm thicknesses.

Hardwood

Sapele, American white oak, keruing, movingui and green oak held in stock. Other hardwoods are obtained to order for you.

Western Red Cedar

All our western red cedar is, at a minimum, No.2 clear and better (<15% No.4). We insist on this grade to reduce the amount of defecting that is required on site which keeps your waste to a minimum. We keep the following cedar cladding and sawn planks.

• 18x142 Western red cedar TGV.

• 22/25mm and 50mm thickness in planks, sawn finish.

Other cedar profiles are available to order, such as shadow gap, shiplap and rain screen. Minimum order for non stock cedar profiles 100 metres.

In addition to western red cedar we stock 22/25x150mm sawn boards in the following species. These species are considered less aesthetically pleasing than western red but they are more cost effective.

• British Columbian yellow cedar.

• ‘Homegrown’ British cedar.

Machining

If standard sizes are not quite right for you; timber can be cut or planed to any size you require. A fast turnaround time keeps your project on schedule.
